This group brings together representatives from the voluntary and community sector, with statutory and private organisations. Working with a cross-sector ChangeUp Strategy Group, ChangeUp in the West Midlands has involved £4m investment in projects across the region.
Nine consortia have developed, including five working in the rural counties. A process of open-commissioning, with proposals assessed by an independent panel, has funded a large range of projects, either co-ordinated by consortia or run by separate partnerships (eg regional and themed projects).
